Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Gather all your materials on a clean, flat surface.
2. Cut a length of beading string about 24 inches long.
3. Attach one half of the clasp to one end of the string by threading the string through the clasp loop, tying a secure knot, and optionally applying a drop of clear nail polish or glue for extra security.
4. Begin threading your beads onto the string in any pattern you like, leaving about 2 inches of string free at the other end.
5. Once you reach your desired necklace length (typically 16-18 inches), thread the other half of the clasp onto the string.
6. Tie a secure knot to attach the clasp, and again apply nail polish or glue if desired.
7. Trim any excess string close to the knot.
8. If using jump rings, use needle-nose pliers to attach them between the clasp and string for added flexibility.
9. Let glue dry completely before wearing your new sparkling necklace to your next party.
