Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Cut the four boards into two pairs: two boards at 4 feet and two boards at 2 feet lengths.
2. Sand the edges of all boards to remove splinters.
3. Arrange the boards into a rectangle, with the 4-foot boards as length and 2-foot boards as width.
4. Drill pilot holes on the inside edges where the boards meet to prevent wood splitting.
5. Screw the boards together at each corner using two screws per joint.
6. Optionally, apply wood glue along the joints before screwing for extra strength.
7. Sand any rough surfaces and edges.
8. Apply exterior wood sealant or paint to protect the wood from weather.
9. Place the raised bed in your desired location.
10. Fill with quality soil and plant your chosen seeds or plants.
