Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Start by taping down your watercolor paper to a flat surface using masking tape.
2. Wet your paper with clean water using a large brush.
3. Mix black and blue watercolor paints to create a dark base for your galaxy background. Apply the paint using a flat brush.
4. While the paint is still wet, add drops of purple and pink paint to create the galaxy effect. Use a round brush to blend the colors together.
5. Let the background dry completely.
6. Using white watercolor paint, add stars and small dots to the galaxy using a small round brush.
7. Once the stars are dry, use a white gel pen to add additional details and highlights.
8. Let your painting dry completely before removing the masking tape.
9. Frame your artwork or display it as desired.
