Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Fold a square piece of paper in half diagonally to form a triangle.
2. Fold the triangle in half again to make a smaller triangle.
3. Fold the triangle into thirds, overlapping the sides so it resembles a cone shape.
4. Trim the pointed end of the folded paper to create a flat edge.
5. Cut small shapes (triangles, diamonds, or semicircles) out of the edges of the folded paper.
6. Carefully unfold the paper to reveal a symmetrical snowflake.
7. Repeat steps 1-6 to make about 10-15 snowflakes.
8. Optional: Decorate the snowflakes with glitter or markers for extra sparkle.
9. Attach the snowflakes to the string or ribbon using glue or tape, spacing them evenly.
10. If preferred, punch holes near the top of each snowflake and thread the string through.
11. Hang the garland across a mantel, window, or wall to display your festive decoration.
