Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Choose your favorite animals to create and find simple pictures online for reference.
2. Cut cardstock into small rectangles (about 2 inches wide and 3 inches tall) to form the puppet body.
3. Draw the animal faces and details on the rectangles using markers or colored pencils.
4. If available, glue googly eyes onto the face for added fun.
5. Roll each rectangle into a loose tube that fits comfortably on a finger and secure the ends with glue or tape.
6. Allow glue to dry fully before using.
7. Repeat to create a variety of animal puppets for storytelling and play.
