Kids & Toys Beginner 1 hour $5
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Choose a clean sock to use as the puppet base.
2. Turn the sock inside out and place your hand inside to identify where the mouth will be (usually around the toe area).
3. Use scissors to cut felt pieces to make a mouth shape (like a tongue or lips) and glue them inside the sock where the mouth will be.
4. Glue or sew googly eyes onto the sock above the mouth area.
5. Create hair by cutting yarn into small pieces and glue or sew them onto the top of the sock.
6. Decorate the puppet with buttons, beads, or fabric markers to add features like a nose, freckles, or clothing details.
7. Allow all glue and paint to dry completely.
8. Put your hand inside the sock and start animating your new puppet friend!
