Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Collect old magazines or catalogues with colorful pages.
2. Cut magazine pages into strips about 1 inch wide and 10-12 inches long.
3. Roll each strip tightly into a tube, securing the end with a dab of glue. Use a toothpick or skewer to help roll if needed.
4. Make enough paper tubes to fill your canvas or backing board.
5. Plan your design by laying out the tubes on the backing without glue; arrange in geometric patterns like hexagons, circles, or random clusters.
6. Once satisfied with the layout, glue each tube to the backing firmly.
7. Allow the glue to dry completely.
8. (Optional) Apply a coat of clear varnish or Mod Podge over the entire surface to seal and protect your art.
9. Let dry fully before hanging or displaying your recycled magazine wall art.
