Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Select colorful pages from magazines or scrap paper.
2. Cut the paper into long triangles, about 1 inch wide at the base and 3-4 inches long.
3. Starting at the wide end, roll the paper tightly around a toothpick or skewer to form a bead.
4. Secure the narrow tip with a dab of glue and hold until dry.
5. Remove the bead from the toothpick once dry.
6. Repeat to make as many beads as desired for your necklace.
7. Optional: Coat each bead with clear nail polish or mod podge to make them more durable and glossy. Let dry completely.
8. Thread the beads onto your string or cord, arranging them as you like.
9. Tie the ends of the string securely or attach a clasp if you have one.
10. Adjust the length and wear your recycled paper bead necklace with pride!
