Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Measure and cut four wooden strips to create the frame edges, two pieces for the length and two for the width, all about 12 inches long.
2. Sand all pieces smoothly with medium and then fine grit sandpaper.
3. Arrange the pieces in a rectangle and apply wood glue to the ends to join them.
4. Clamp the frame and let the glue dry for at least 1 hour. Optionally, reinforce corners with small nails.
5. Cut the clear acrylic sheet and backing material to fit inside the frame.
6. Once the frame is dry, optionally paint or stain it and allow it to dry completely.
7. Insert the acrylic sheet, photo, and backing into the frame.
8. Attach hanging hardware or a stand to the back if desired.
9. Your photo frame is ready to gift!
