Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Select a wooden pallet that is sturdy and free of harmful chemicals.
2. Sand the pallet thoroughly to remove splinters and rough edges.
3. Apply a coat of outdoor wood paint or sealant to protect the wood from moisture and weather.
4. Let the pallet dry completely, then flip it over to the back side.
5. Measure and cut the landscape fabric to cover the back and sides of the pallet’s sections.
6. Use the staple gun to secure the fabric tightly, creating pockets to hold soil.
7. Fill each pocket with potting soil, pressing lightly to avoid compaction.
8. Plant your herb seedlings or sow seeds in the soil-filled pockets.
9. Water the herbs gently using the spray bottle.
10. Position the pallet vertically against a wall or fence in a sunny spot.
11. Maintain by watering regularly and harvesting herbs as needed.
