Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Choose a glass candle holder or a clear glass container that fits your candle snugly.
2. Clean the outside base area of the glass thoroughly and dry it completely.
3. Using a small amount of hot glue, carefully apply a thin line around the lower third of the outside of the glass where you want the sand and crystals to adhere.
4. Sprinkle a thin layer of fine natural sand onto the glued area. Press gently to secure, allowing the glue to set for about 5 minutes.
5. Apply another thin line of hot glue just above the sand layer, then use tweezers to place small crystals intermittently on this glued area, creating a scattered but visible decorative band.
6. Once the sand and crystals are firmly attached and dry, cut a length of thin copper wire long enough to wrap around the glass twice with some extra for twisting.
7. Wrap the copper wire around the glass just above or around the crystal band, positioning it as a focal decorative element. Twist the wire ends neatly to secure it in place without scratching the glass.
8. Optionally, attach small dried rosemary sprigs or ginger pieces to the copper wire by gently twisting them into place, ensuring they remain outside the glass and away from the flame.
9. Place the candle inside the glass holder. Ensure the wax and wick are clear of the decorative elements on the outside.
10. Light the candle and enjoy the warm glow highlighting the sand, crystals, and copper wire accents.
Note: Do not place any flammable materials inside the glass or near the candle flame to maintain safety.
