1. Cast on 48 stitches with the main color yarn and distribute them evenly onto three double-pointed needles.
2. Join in the round, being careful not to twist the stitches.
3. Knit in a 2x2 rib stitch pattern for 1 inch.
4. Switch to the contrasting color yarn and knit the dragon motif chart over the next 36 stitches.
5. Continue knitting in the main color yarn for the remainder of the sock, working in stockinette stitch.
6. Repeat the dragon motif chart on the other side of the sock.
7. Continue knitting until the sock measures approximately 5 inches from the cast-on edge.
8. Knit the heel flap by working back and forth on half of the stitches.
9. Turn the heel using short rows.
10. Pick up stitches along the sides of the heel flap and gusset.

12. Continue knitting in stockinette stitch until the sock measures the desired length.
13. Knit the toe using a decrease method.
