Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Clean the bicycle thoroughly, removing rust and dirt using sandpaper or a wire brush.
2. Decide on the placement of the bike parallel to the street, ensuring it is stable.
3. If needed, paint the bike frame for a fresh look and allow it to dry.
4. Measure and mark locations on the bike frame or the wooden plank where the three mailboxes will be attached.
5. If the mailboxes cannot be directly mounted to the bike frame due to shape, attach a sturdy wooden or metal plank along the bike's horizontal frame to create a flat mounting surface.
6. Position each mailbox on the marked spots and secure them using screws and washers through the mailbox mounting holes into the plank or directly into the bike frame.
7. Reinforce the mailboxes’ attachment with heavy-duty zip ties or metal brackets for extra security.
8. Ensure the bike stand is stable; if necessary, use concrete or ground stakes to anchor the bike into the ground.
9. Use a level to check that mailboxes are straight and adjust as necessary.
10. Let all attachments set firmly before using the mailbox stand.
