Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Disassemble the pallet carefully to get the wood boards.
2. Cut the wood to size: Cut two pieces for the sides (about 24 inches long) and three pieces for the shelves (about 16 inches long).
3. Sand all pieces until smooth to remove any splinters or rough edges.
4. Take the two side pieces and mark where you want the shelves to be placed—typically, 6-8 inches apart.
5. Drill holes for the screws in the marked spots on the side pieces.
6. Attach the shelves to the side pieces using wood screws and wood glue for added stability. Ensure they are level.
7. Clamp the structure and let the glue dry for at least 30 minutes.
8. Once dry, sand any rough edges again and apply wood finish or paint if desired.
9. Let the finish dry completely before using the wine rack.
10. Optionally, add felt pads to the bottom for a softer grip on surfaces and to prevent scratching.
