Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare your cardboard box by sealing the bottom with tape to ensure it's sturdy.
2. Paint the entire box silver using spray paint or acrylic paint. Let it dry completely.
3. Using colored paper, cut out shapes for robot details: a mouth, buttons, and panels. Glue these onto the front and sides of the box.
4. Attach two googley eyes near the top front of the box for the robot's eyes.
5. Use the black marker to draw lines and circuits on the robot body for added detail.
6. Cut two short pipe cleaners and curl them to create antennae. Tape or glue them securely to the top corners of the box.
7. On the top of the box, cut a slot about 1 inch wide and 4 inches long for Valentine cards to be inserted. If using a craft knife, have an adult assist.
8. Optionally, print and cut out a robot face template and glue it on the front for extra character.
9. Let everything dry and set before using the box to collect Valentines.
10. Enjoy your personalized robot Valentine box!
