Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Cut the copper tubing to desired length (~30 cm) using a tubing cutter.
2. Shape the copper tube end to form the nozzle, tapering slightly to concentrate the flame.
3. Drill a small hole near the base of the copper tube to connect to the gas hose.
4. Attach the flexible gas hose to the copper tube using an appropriate fitting, sealing with Teflon tape to prevent leaks.
5. Connect the other end of the gas hose to your gas valve or supply.
6. Solder the fittings securely to ensure gas tightness; allow to cool.
7. Attach the heat-resistant handle material securely to the copper tube to avoid burns during use.
8. Integrate the plasma ignition module near the nozzle area, ensuring the spark gap is close enough to ignite the gas-air mixture.
9. Connect the plasma igniter to its power source and secure all wiring safely away from heat.
10. Test the system outdoors or in a well-ventilated area: open the gas valve slowly and activate the plasma igniter to produce a blue flame.
11. Adjust the gas flow for a stable blue flame.
12. Always check for gas leaks with soapy water before each use and wear appropriate safety gear.
