Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Choose or create a simple design and print or draw it onto freezer paper.
2. Cut out the design on the freezer paper using a craft knife or scissors to create a stencil.
3. Place the stencil shiny side down on the T-shirt where you want the design.
4. Iron the stencil onto the shirt on a medium setting without steam to adhere the freezer paper.
5. Insert cardboard inside the T-shirt to prevent paint from bleeding through.
6. Use a paintbrush or sponge to apply fabric paint inside the stencil area.
7. Carefully remove the freezer paper stencil while the paint is still wet.
8. Allow the paint to dry according to the fabric paint instructions.
9. Use the heat gun to gently heat-set the painted design, moving it continuously to avoid burning the fabric.
10. Alternatively, iron the back side of the design to heat-set if preferred.
11. Wait for the paint to cool and cure fully before washing or wearing the shirt.
