Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Cut the 1x12 pine board into a rectangular piece (24 inches wide by 36 inches tall) for the chair back.
2. Cut the 1x4 pieces into four legs, each 36 inches long.
3. Attach the legs to the corners of the back piece using wood glue and screws, ensuring stability.
4. Cut another piece of the 1x12 board into a seat (24 inches wide by 24 inches deep) and attach it to the legs with screws.
5. Cut a shallow groove into the front of the seat piece to hold the guitar neck securely.
6. Sand all surfaces thoroughly using 120 grit sandpaper first, then finish with 220 grit for a smooth surface.
7. Stain or paint the wood to your desired finish and allow it to dry.
8. Apply a coat of varnish or polyurethane for protection and durability.
9. If desired, attach a cushion to the seat for added comfort.
10. Position the guitar stand section (the groove) at a 30-degree angle to hold the guitar securely when not in use.
