Homemade Drone

Construct your own drone from scratch or using a DIY drone kit, and experiment with aerial photography or racing.

Instructions

1. Assemble the drone frame according to the manufacturer's instructions. 2. Mount the flight controller onto the frame using the provided screws. 3. Connect the ESCs to the flight controller using wires and soldering. 4. Attach the motors to the drone frame using screws. 5. Connect the motors to the ESCs. 6. Install the propellers onto the motors. 7. Mount the battery onto the drone frame using velcro straps. 8. Connect the battery to the flight controller. 9. Attach the remote control receiver to the drone frame. 10. Bind the remote control transmitter to the receiver. 11. If using FPV (First Person View), install the FPV camera onto the drone. 12. Connect the FPV camera to the flight controller. 13. Put on FPV goggles and ensure the camera feed is working. 14. Double-check all connections and secure them with zip ties and heat shrink tubing. 15. Test the drone in a safe and open area, making sure all controls are functioning correctly.
