Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Condition the polymer clay by kneading it until soft and pliable.
2. Roll out the clay evenly on a clean surface using a rolling pin or smooth bottle to about 1/8 inch thickness.
3. Cut the clay into desired charm shapes (circles, rectangles, hearts, etc.) using scissors or a craft knife.
4. Use a toothpick or needle to make a small hole near the edge for attaching jump rings or keychains.
5. Bake the clay charms on a parchment-lined baking tray according to the clay manufacturer's instructions (usually 15-30 minutes at 265°F-275°F).
6. Allow the charms to cool completely after baking.
7. Practice writing your desired text on paper to get comfortable.
8. Carefully write your message or design onto the cooled clay charms using a fine tip permanent marker or paint pen.
9. Let the ink dry completely.
10. Optionally, apply a thin layer of glossy varnish or clear nail polish to seal and protect the writing.
11. Let the varnish dry fully before handling or attaching to jewelry findings.
