Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Plan your house design on paper, deciding dimensions (e.g., base 6x6 inches, height 6 inches).
2. Cut cardboard to form the base and walls of the house. You will need 1 base piece and 4 walls (2 for sides, 1 front, 1 back).
3. Using white glue, begin attaching popsicle sticks side-by-side to cover the cardboard walls, overlapping slightly or aligning edges neatly.
4. Let the glued walls dry completely, ideally 1-2 hours.
5. Assemble the walls by gluing edges together to form a box shape; reinforce with hot glue if desired.
6. For the roof, cut two triangular cardboard pieces and two rectangular pieces for the sloped sides.
7. Cover the roof pieces with popsicle sticks glued horizontally or vertically.
8. Glue the roof pieces together and attach them to the top of the house.
9. Add details such as windows and doors by cutting shapes from cardboard or using craft paper, and glue them onto the walls.
10. Optionally, paint the house and add decorative elements like small fabric curtains or beads for doorknobs.
11. Allow all glue and paint to dry thoroughly before displaying.
