Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Measure and cut the 2x4 lumber into four vertical pieces (6 feet each) and four horizontal pieces (2 feet each) for each panel frame.
2. Assemble the frame for each panel by attaching the horizontal pieces to the vertical pieces using wood glue and screws, forming a rectangle. Repeat for each of the three panels.
3. Cut the plywood to fit inside each panel frame, then attach it using screws to create a solid backing for the insulation.
4. Insert the mineral wool insulation into each panel frame, ensuring it fits snugly against the plywood.
5. Use the staple gun to secure fabric around each panel, starting from one edge and pulling taut while stapling along the back edge. Trim excess fabric as needed.
6. Attach the hinges to the edges of the panels, ensuring they align properly to allow for smooth folding.
7. Connect the panels together using the hinges, forming a three-panel divider that can be easily positioned.
8. Sand any rough edges and apply wood stain or paint if desired for aesthetic appeal.
9. Place the completed room divider in your desired location, using a level to ensure it stands upright and stable.
