Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Inflate the balloon to your desired size and tie it securely.
2. Mix Fevicol glue with water in a small container at a ratio of about 2:1 (glue to water) to make it easier to soak the string.
3. Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly or cooking oil on the balloon to prevent the string from sticking permanently.
4. Cut long pieces of cotton string.
5. Dip the string into the glue mixture, ensuring it is fully soaked.
6. Wrap the glue-soaked string around the balloon randomly, covering about half to two-thirds of the balloon's surface.
7. Place the balloon in a bowl to keep it steady and allow the string to dry completely overnight or for about 8 hours.
8. Once dry and stiff, gently pop the balloon with a pin and carefully remove it from inside the string bowl.
9. Trim any loose ends or uneven edges with scissors.
10. Your balloon string bowl is ready to use as a decorative piece or to hold lightweight items.
