Charming Backyard Pergola

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Choose a location for your pergola and mark the corners.
2. Dig holes for the 4x4 posts, at least 2 feet deep.
3. Place the posts in the holes and use post anchors to secure them. Fill the holes with concrete mix and let it set.
4. Once the posts are set, cut the 2x6 lumber into the desired lengths for the top beams.
5. Attach the 2x6 beams horizontally between the posts, securing them with wood screws.
6. Cut the 2x4 lumber into lengths for the cross beams.
7. Attach the 2x4 cross beams to the top of the pergola, spacing them evenly apart.
8. Sand any rough edges and apply wood stain or sealant for protection.
9. Allow the stain to dry completely before using your pergola.
10. Optionally, add climbing plants or decorations for a personalized touch.
