Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Clean and dry the white plastic pint bottles thoroughly.
2. Using the craft knife, carefully cut the top third off each bottle to create an open container; smooth edges if needed.
3. Decorate the outside of the bottle base with permanent markers or acrylic paint pens, drawing festive patterns like snowflakes, holly, or candy canes.
4. Fill the bottle base with a small amount of artificial snow or white glitter.
5. Place a small Christmas figurine or mini decoration in the center of the bottle base on top of the snow.
6. Insert a battery-operated tea light candle inside the bottle base, positioning it so it illuminates the figurine.
7. Use the top part of the bottle as a cover or lid if desired, or place a clear plastic ornament or small clear jar over the base to create a snow globe effect.
8. Secure the top to the base with hot glue or double-sided tape.
9. Tie red and green ribbon or twine around the neck of the bottle for a festive touch.
10. Optionally, glue small evergreen sprigs, bells, or festive stickers onto the bottle for extra decoration.
11. Turn on the tea light candle to light up your Christmas snow globe lantern.
12. Repeat with additional bottles to create a set for display or gifting.
