Beginner 2 hours $10
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Remove any labels from the milk bottles and wash thoroughly; let them dry completely.
2. Using a pencil, lightly sketch Christmas-themed designs on the bottles (e.g., snowflakes, stars, Christmas trees).
3. Carefully cut out small shapes or windows along your pencil lines using scissors or a craft knife. Alternatively, punch small holes in patterns to allow light to shine through.
4. Paint the outside of the bottles with festive colors, leaving the cut-out windows clear. Allow paint to dry completely.
5. Optionally, decorate the painted bottles with glitter or holiday stickers for extra sparkle.
6. Insert a battery-operated tealight candle or a small string of fairy lights into the bottle.
7. Use a hot glue gun to attach a ribbon or twine loop to the bottle neck for hanging.
8. Place your lanterns on a windowsill, porch, or gift them to friends and family for a cozy holiday glow.
