Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare the frame to house the monitor and mirror, ensuring the screen fits snugly.
2. Attach the two-way acrylic mirror sheet to the frame front, ensuring it covers the monitor screen.
3. Connect the Raspberry Pi to the monitor using the HDMI cable.
4. Insert the microSD card loaded with the Raspberry Pi OS and MagicMirror² software.
5. Power on the Raspberry Pi and complete the initial setup with keyboard, mouse, and Wi-Fi.
6. Install and configure MagicMirror² software by following their official installation guide.
7. Customize modules such as time, weather, calendar, and news feeds through configuration files.
8. Secure all components inside the frame, hiding cables neatly.
9. Mount the smart mirror on the wall or place on a stand.
10. Perform regular software updates and tweak module settings as desired.
