Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Design the tabletop shape and create a model using wood, foam, or plastic.
2. Use the silicone mold kit to create a negative mold of your tabletop model. Follow the kit instructions for mixing and curing times.
3. Once the silicone mold is cured, prepare your workspace by covering surfaces with a drop cloth.
4. Mix the epoxy resin and hardener according to the instructions, adding pigments or decorations if desired.
5. Pour the epoxy carefully into the silicone mold, using a heat gun or torch to remove air bubbles.
6. Allow the resin to cure fully, typically 24-48 hours.
7. Demold the cured epoxy tabletop from the silicone mold gently.
8. Sand the edges and surface of the tabletop to smooth any imperfections.
9. Prepare the wooden or MDF base by sanding and painting or staining as preferred.
10. Attach the table legs securely to the base with screws and a drill.
11. Fix the epoxy tabletop onto the base using strong adhesive or screws (if design allows).
12. Allow any adhesives to dry completely before using the table.
