Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Design the shape of your plasma blaster on paper, focusing on a main barrel (using a cardboard tube) and a handle.
2. Cut craft foam pieces to cover the cardboard tube and create additional details like fins, vents, and panels.
3. Use hot glue to assemble foam pieces onto the cardboard tube, building up the plasma cannon shape.
4. Paint the assembled foam and cardboard structure with metallic spray paints, letting it dry completely.
5. Attach the LED strip or flashlight inside or near the barrel to simulate the glowing plasma effect.
6. Wire the LED to the 9V battery and toggle switch, securing connections with electrical tape.
7. Mount the battery pack and switch onto the handle area, making sure the switch is accessible.
8. Test the LED light by toggling the switch; adjust placement if needed to enhance the glowing effect.
9. Add final decorative touches with foam or paint as desired.
10. Allow everything to dry and set before handling or displaying.
