Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Fold a piece of cardstock in half to form the card base.
2. Take a second piece of cardstock in a contrasting color and cut a rectangle about 4 inches wide and 3 inches tall.
3. With the rectangle folded in half, make two parallel cuts about 1 inch apart and 1 inch deep from the fold (these will be the pop-up tabs).
4. Open the rectangle and fold the cut tabs inward to create pop-up stands.
5. Glue the rectangle inside the card base, aligning the folds so the tabs pop up when the card opens.
6. Decorate the pop-up area with hearts, numbers, or anniversary-themed drawings using colored pens.
7. Write your anniversary message on the front and inside the card.
8. Let the glue dry, then your card is ready to give!
