Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Decide the size of your journal and cut all paper sheets and cover material to the same dimensions.
2. Fold each paper sheet in half to create the journal pages.
3. Fold the cover material in half as well.
4. Stack the folded pages inside the folded cover.
5. Use the ruler and pencil to mark evenly spaced holes along the fold line (about 4-6 holes depending on size).
6. Punch holes through all layers using a hole punch or sharp needle.
7. Thread the needle with thread or ribbon and sew through the holes to bind the journal pages to the cover, tying a secure knot at the end.
8. Decorate the cover using markers, stickers, or stamps as desired.
9. Allow any glue or decorations to dry completely before use.
