Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Stack your plain papers neatly and fold them in half to create a booklet shape.
2. Fold your cardstock cover in half the same way.
3. Place the folded papers inside the folded cover, aligning all edges.
4. Using a pencil and ruler, mark three evenly spaced points along the folded edge for sewing (top, middle, bottom).
5. Thread your needle with about 18 inches of thread and knot the end.
6. Starting from the inside middle hole, push the needle through to the outside, leaving the knot inside.
7. Sew through the top hole from outside to inside.
8. Sew through the bottom hole from inside to outside.
9. Go back through the middle hole from outside to inside and tie a secure knot.
10. Trim any excess thread.
11. Optionally, decorate the cover with washi tape, stickers, or stamps.
12. Apply glue stick inside the cover edges to reinforce and help keep pages in place.
13. Let glue dry before using your notebook.
