Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Gather about 10-15 sheets of plain paper and fold each sheet in half to create the notebook pages.
2. Prepare a cover by cutting a piece of cardstock slightly larger than the folded pages.
3. Decorate the cover with markers, pens, or paints according to your desired design. Let dry if necessary.
4. Stack the folded pages inside the cover, aligning the spines.
5. Use a ruler to mark 3-5 evenly spaced points along the fold (spine) where you will punch holes.
6. Punch holes through all layers at the marked points using a hole punch or a needle.
7. Thread your needle with thread or thin yarn and sew through the holes, creating a simple pamphlet stitch by going in and out along the spine.
8. Tie off the thread securely and trim any excess.
9. Optionally, reinforce the inside spine with a strip of tape or glue for added durability.
