Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Fold all plain printer paper sheets in half to create the pages of your notebook.
2. Fold the cardstock sheet in half to form the notebook cover.
3. (Optional) Cut decorative paper slightly smaller than the cover and glue it onto the front cover for decoration.
4. Stack the folded pages inside the cover, aligning the folds.
5. Use a ruler and pencil to mark three evenly spaced points along the folded edge for binding holes.
6. Using a hole punch or sharp needle, carefully punch holes through all layers at the marked points.
7. Thread the ribbon or string through the holes in a crisscross or simple binding pattern and tie securely.
8. Trim excess ribbon/string and adjust the knot so the notebook is held tightly.
9. Your handmade decorative notebook is ready to use or gift!
