Intertwined 3D Dreamcatcher

Create a stunning 3D dreamcatcher using three intertwined hoops that symbolize unity and protection. This naturalist project incorporates twine, yarn, and various natural elements to enhance its beauty and functionality.

Intermediate 4 hours $50
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Start by choosing the sizes of your wooden hoops and lay them out in a way that they can be intertwined.
2. If desired, paint or stain the hoops for added color and protection. Allow to dry completely.
3. Begin wrapping twine around the hoops, securing the ends with hot glue. Wrap each hoop in a different pattern or color for visual interest.
4. Once wrapped, intertwine the hoops together, using twine to secure them at points where they cross.
5. Cut pieces of yarn and create a web within each hoop. Tie knots to secure and allow for a bit of space between strands.
6. Attach feathers, beads, totems, and herbs by tying them onto the yarn or twine using small knots. Place them at different lengths for a dynamic look.
7. Finish by tying a piece of wire or string at the top for easy hanging.
8. Optionally, you can sprinkle dried herbs around the dreamcatcher or create small pouches to hang from it for added natural elements.
