Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Take the sheet of paper and cut out a rectangle approximately 6 inches tall and 3 inches wide.
2. Fold the rectangle in half lengthwise (long side to long side) and crease it well, then unfold.
3. From the folded crease line, cut two slits about 1.5 inches long, one from each side toward the center, stopping at the crease line.
4. Fold each slit outward to create the helicopter blades, making sure they are symmetrical.
5. At the bottom of the paper, fold up about 1 inch to create the tail of the helicopter.
6. Attach a paperclip to the bottom fold to add weight so the helicopter spins as it falls.
7. Optionally, decorate the helicopter with markers or crayons.
8. Hold the helicopter by the top and drop it from a height indoors or outdoors to watch it spin down like a real helicopter.
