Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Fold a white cardstock sheet in half to create your card base.
2. Using the embossing folder or stencil, lightly emboss or texture a 10cm x 14cm panel of white cardstock to create the background; adhere this panel centered on the front of the card.
3. Lightly sketch a simple, playful kitten outline and balloons on pastel cardstock sheets (use different colors for balloons and kitten parts).
4. Carefully cut out the kitten and balloon shapes.
5. Layer kitten parts (body, head, ears) using craft foam pads between layers to create a subtle 3D effect.
6. Attach the balloons cutouts around the kitten, also using foam pads for dimension.
7. Tie a small bow with the pastel ribbon and glue it near the kitten's neck or balloon string area.
8. Adhere small decorative pearls to the kitten’s collar or balloon knots for added detail.
9. Use the black pen to add simple facial features to the kitten and balloon strings.
10. Leave ample white space on the card front for birthday text, which you can write inside or on the front later.
11. Optional: softly shade the edges of the kitten and balloons with colored pencils for depth.
12. Allow glue to dry completely before handling or writing your message inside.
