Beginner 2 hours $5
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Gather cardboard from old boxes and flatten them.
2. Measure and cut out pieces for the base, four sides, and inner dividers if desired. For example, cut one rectangle for the base (e.g., 10x6 inches) and four strips for the sides (e.g., 10x2 inches and 6x2 inches).
3. Use masking tape to temporarily assemble the box by attaching the sides to the base at right angles.
4. Remove the tape and apply glue to the edges of the sides, then firmly press them to the base and hold until secure. Use masking tape to hold while drying.
5. Reinforce corners by cutting small triangular pieces of cardboard and gluing them inside the box corners.
6. Cut and glue inner dividers if you want compartments inside the box.
7. Once dry, decorate the box with paint, markers, or cover with recycled paper or fabric for a polished look.
8. Attach recycled bottle caps or buttons to the front as decorative knobs by gluing them on.
9. Let everything dry completely before use.
10. Use your organizer box to store small items neatly.
