Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Cut the plywood sheet to 16x8 inches to form the trailer deck.
2. Attach two wooden dowels or metal rods underneath the deck parallel to the short side to serve as axles.
3. Fix the wheels onto the axles securely.
4. Install two small hinges along one of the longer edges of the plywood deck to act as the pivot for tilting.
5. Create a base frame from scrap wood or plywood slightly larger than the deck to support the trailer and allow tilting.
6. Attach the trailer deck to the base frame using the hinges to allow upward tilting.
7. Position the small hydraulic bottle jack or syringe-based hydraulic lift between the base frame and the underside of the trailer deck opposite the hinges.
8. Secure the hydraulic lift so it can push the deck upward when activated.
9. Test the tilting mechanism by pumping the hydraulic lift and lowering it back carefully.
10. Optionally, paint or finish the trailer model to enhance its appearance.
