1. Measure and mark the positions on the dwarf brick walls where the wooden frame will be fixed.
2. Cut four 4x4 treated timber posts to 8ft length for the vertical corner supports.
3. Attach two 4x4 posts at each corner of the brick walls using concrete screws and anchors to secure the frame base.
4. Cut 2x4 timber studs to 7ft length for horizontal framing along the top of the dwarf walls and between vertical posts.
5. Fix horizontal 2x4 studs onto the posts to form the rectangular frame at the top.
6. Install additional 2x4 studs spaced at 24 inches on center vertically on the east, north, and south sides to support polycarbonate panels.
7. On the west end, leave the existing brick wall clear (no glazing needed).
8. Cut 2x2 battens for door framing, approximately 7ft tall and 3ft wide for a single door on the east end.
9. Assemble the door frame using 2x4 and 2x2 timber, then fix polycarbonate sheeting cut to size.
10. Attach hinges and latch to the door frame and mount the door on the east side of the greenhouse.
11. For the roof, cut 2x4 rafters at a 15-degree pitch angle (approx. 2ft rise over 8ft run) to allow rain runoff.
12. Fix rafters from east to west across the top frame, spaced 24 inches apart.
13. Attach 2x2 battens perpendicular to rafters to secure polycarbonate roof panels.
14. Cut polycarbonate sheets to size to cover walls and roof, leaving slight overlap.
15. Secure polycarbonate sheets with screws and washers, apply silicone sealant at joints to waterproof.
16. Sand and paint or treat all exposed timber surfaces for weather protection.
17. Inspect all fixings, make sure door opens and closes smoothly.
18. Clean up workspace and enjoy your new greenhouse!
