Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Draw a pattern: sketch an octopus shape with a rounded head and eight tentacles on paper. The size should be about 8-10 inches wide.
2. Cut out the paper pattern.
3. Using the pattern, cut out three identical octopus shapes from the different colored felt sheets.
4. Add facial features or decorations to each side using embroidery floss, buttons, or fabric markers.
5. Layer the three octopus shapes on top of each other, aligning the edges.
6. Pin or clip the layers together to prevent shifting.
7. Starting from a tentacle edge, sew the three layers together using a whip stitch or blanket stitch, leaving a small opening for stuffing.
8. Turn the plushie inside out carefully so the stitches are on the inside and the faces are outward.
9. Stuff the plushie firmly with polyester stuffing.
10. Sew the opening closed securely.
11. Gently shape the tentacles as desired.
12. Your reversible, three-sided octopus plushie is ready to flip and play with!
