Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Clean the cassette holder thoroughly to remove dust and dirt.
2. Sand the entire surface lightly to smooth rough areas and prepare for painting or staining.
3. (Optional) Paint or stain the wood to your desired color and let dry completely.
4. Plan the placement of hooks and compartments: typically, add cup hooks along the top or inside the holder to hang necklaces and bracelets.
5. Use a pencil to mark where each hook will go, spacing them evenly.
6. Screw in the cup hooks by hand or use a small drill for pilot holes to avoid splitting the wood.
7. If the holder has compartments, you can add small nails or glue small bowls or dishes inside to hold rings and earrings.
8. Wipe down the holder with a soft cloth to remove any dust from modifications.
9. Hang or place the holder in your desired location and organize your jewelry on it.
