Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Measure and mark your plywood to cut the pieces: two sides (2ft x 1ft), top (2ft x 1ft), bottom (2ft x 1ft), back panel (2ft x 1ft), and front frame (optional, 2ft x 6 inches).
2. Carefully cut all plywood pieces using your saw, wearing safety goggles and dust mask.
3. Sand all edges and surfaces smoothly to avoid splinters.
4. Assemble the sides, top, and bottom first by applying wood glue along the edges and screwing the pieces together to form a rectangular box.
5. Attach the back panel using wood glue and screws.
6. If desired, attach the front frame to give the enclosure a finished look.
7. Sand any rough edges or corners.
8. Apply wood stain or paint if you want to protect the wood and enhance appearance. Allow it to dry completely.
9. Place the enclosure around your stove, ensuring proper ventilation and clearance as per stove safety guidelines.
