Intermediate 3 hours $15
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Soften the stone clay according to package instructions until pliable.
2. Shape the clay into a thick, curved base approximately 4-5 inches wide and 3 inches tall, with an indented groove on top to hold a phone securely.
3. Press a few smooth stones into the front and sides of the clay base to add texture and weight.
4. Allow the clay to dry completely (air dry for 24 hours or bake if required).
5. Once dry, gently sand any rough edges for a smooth finish.
6. Optionally paint or decorate the clay base with acrylic paints and let dry.
7. Cut the fabric into a small rectangular piece to serve as a soft cushion inside the groove.
8. Glue the fabric inside the groove to protect the phone from scratches.
9. Wrap the rope decoratively around the base or create a small loop at the back for added style, securing it with glue.
10. Spray a clear sealant over the entire piece to protect the surface (optional).
11. Let everything dry thoroughly before using your new artistic phone stand.
