Create a sleek and functional acrylic desk organizer to keep your workspace tidy. This project involves cutting, sanding, and assembling acrylic sheets into compartments for stationery and small items.

Intermediate 3 hours $20
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Measure and mark the acrylic sheet into pieces: one 8x5 inch base, two 5x3 inch side panels, two 8x3 inch front and back panels, and one 8x2 inch divider.
2. Score along the marked lines with the utility knife, applying multiple passes to create a clean break.
3. Snap the pieces carefully along the scored lines.
4. Use fine-grit sandpaper to smooth all edges and corners.
5. Arrange the pieces to form the organizer shape: attach the side panels to the base, then add front and back panels.
6. Insert the divider in the middle of the organizer on the base.
7. Apply acrylic cement along the joining edges using a small brush or applicator.
8. Press the pieces together and secure with clamps or heavy books.
9. Let the adhesive cure for at least 24 hours before use.
10. Optionally, customize with paint or vinyl decals for personalization.
