Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare your workspace by laying down newspaper or a drop cloth to protect surfaces.
2. Clean the terra cotta pots with a damp cloth to remove any dust or dirt and let them dry completely.
3. Use painter’s tape to create geometric shapes or patterns, or lightly sketch your design on the pot with a pencil.
4. Begin painting your design with acrylic paints. Apply multiple coats if necessary, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next.
5. Once the paint is completely dry, carefully remove any painter’s tape.
6. Spray the pot evenly with a clear acrylic sealer outdoors or in a well-ventilated area to protect the paint from moisture and fading.
7. Allow the sealer to dry as per product instructions before using the pot for planting.
8. Optionally, plant your favorite small plants or succulents in the pot once fully dry.
