Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Measure and cut a triangle shape from the dark green fabric, making sure it’s long enough to reach from your waist down to the floor, tapering to a point at the end.
2. Fold the fabric in half lengthwise, right sides together, and sew along the edges, leaving the top open for turning.
3. Turn the tail right side out and stuff it lightly with fabric scraps or batting to give it some volume.
4. Insert the tail wire or flexible tubing into the tail for added structure.
5. Pin the top opening and sew it shut, creating a secure closure.
6. Plan your design for the sequins and jewels. Use fabric glue to attach them in clusters, focusing on areas that would highlight the natural form of the tail.
7. Allow the glue to dry completely before handling.
8. Attach the belt or strap to the top of the tail, ensuring it can be fastened around your waist securely.
9. Try on the tail and adjust the straps as necessary for comfort and fit.
