Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare your workspace by covering it with newspaper or a protective sheet.
2. Use painter's tape to create patterns or borders on the mason jars if desired.
3. Paint the outside of the mason jars with your chosen acrylic paint colors and designs. Allow the paint to dry completely (about 1-2 hours).
4. Once dry, carefully remove the painter's tape to reveal clean lines.
5. Fill each jar with potting soil, leaving about an inch of space from the top.
6. Plant herb seeds or transplant small herb plants into the soil.
7. Lightly water the soil using the spray bottle.
8. Optionally, use a permanent marker to label each jar with the herb name.
9. Place the jars in a sunny windowsill and water as needed to keep the soil moist.
