Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Fold a piece of cardstock in half to create the card base.
2. Cut a strip of colored paper about 1 inch wide and 4 inches long for the pop-up tab.
3. Fold the strip into a 'Z' shape by making two folds: one fold forward and one backward.
4. Glue one end of the 'Z' strip to the inside center crease of the card base.
5. Cut out a pop-up element (such as a heart, star, or flower) from colored paper.
6. Glue the other end of the 'Z' strip to the back of the pop-up element.
7. Allow the glue to dry, then test the card by opening and closing it to see the pop-up effect.
8. Decorate the card with markers, pens, or additional paper cutouts as desired.
9. Write a message inside the card to personalize it.
