Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Select a sturdy belt or waist strap that fits comfortably around your waist.
2. Take the umbrella and identify the handle's shaft where it can be clamped without slipping.
3. Attach the two adjustable clamps or Velcro straps to the belt spaced about 6-8 inches apart, so they can hold the umbrella handle vertically.
4. If using clamps, secure them tightly to the belt; if using Velcro straps, sew or glue them firmly.
5. Insert the umbrella handle between the clamps or through the Velcro straps, adjusting so the umbrella stands upright beside your body.
6. Use zip ties for extra security if needed, trimming any excess.
7. Add rubber grips or foam padding inside the clamps or straps to prevent slipping and protect the umbrella handle.
8. Put on the belt with the umbrella attached, adjust for comfort and accessibility.
9. Attach your dog's leash to your other hand or use a hands-free dog leash to fully free both hands.
10. Test walk to ensure the umbrella stays secure and adjust clamps or strap tension as necessary.
